Plan Your First Visit
At our Newberry Road Campus
We typically recommend arriving 15 minutes early. With help from our greeters, you'll find the north children's lobby, where you can check your kids in. Our children's ministry team does an incredible job helping you find your way and serving your family. Each member has been specially trained, background checked, and has a heart to share Christ with children.
At our Southwest Campus
We have childcare for infants and toddlers during our 9:30am service! At our SW campus, we believe the best experience for your K-5 children is learning to worship alongside you in the worship service. We provide a kids activity sheet which can be picked up by asking a volunteer or at the table in the foyer. During our 11:00am service, no childcare is provided.
What will your child do on Sunday?
On Sunday mornings at Newberry Road, we have Kids’ Worship and Life Groups for your child.
Kids’ Worship
Kid’s Worship will be in The Shack during the 9:30 service hour. This will be for kids in Kindergarten - 3rd Grade.
Life Group
4th and 5th Graders will have Life Group opportunities during both the 9:30 and 11:00 am services!
Kindergarten - 3rd Grade will have Life Group after Kids’ Worship during the 11:00 am service!
Preschool
Preschool classes will be available for children from babies through Pre-K in both hours on Sunday Mornings!
Do I need to sign up?
You do not need to sign up to attend Sunday Mornings. If it’s your first time, we would love for you to plan your first visit so you can feel comfortable and ready when you arrive!
What will your child do on Wednesday Nights?
On Wednesday nights at the Newberry Road Campus, kids will start the evening with Kids’ Discipleship and then move into a rotation of specialty classes!
Kids’ Discipleship
Each Wednesday evening begins with all of our kids gathering together for an engaging time of worship, Bible teaching, Scripture memory, and our weekly Big Idea. This shared discipleship time helps lay a biblical foundation that every child can build on throughout the evening.
Age-Specific Groups
After our large-group gathering, kids will move into age-specific groups where they'll continue learning with leaders and friends who are in the same stage of life.
This year our groups will be:
Aviators – 3's & 4's
Explorers – Kindergarten & 1st Grade
Pathfinders – 2nd & 3rd Grade
Navigators – 4th & 5th Grade
Our prayer is that these consistent groups become places where kids are known, encouraged, ask great questions, build friendships, and continue growing in their relationship with Christ.
Throughout the year, each group will also enjoy a variety of rotations, which include games, missions, worship, Bible lessons, and monthly specials.
Specialty Classes
These specials include ministry opportunities such as Worship, Art, Media, and ASL & Drama, as they discover how God can use their unique gifts to serve others.
Ending the Evening
We'll continue wrapping up each Wednesday at 8:00 PM, allowing families to head home on time while making the most of every minute we're together.
While our Wednesday night format is changing this year, one tradition we're excited to continue is giving our children the opportunity to share what God has been doing in their lives. At the end of the ministry year, our kids will present an End-of-Year Celebration Program featuring worship, creative arts, drama, media, and other ministry teams as they showcase the gifts God has been developing throughout the year.Do I need to sign up?
