Adult Choir
The Westside Choir is a group of worshipers who desire to glorify God through music. The choir meets for rehearsal each Wednesday night at 7:15p. Rehearsals alternate between the Choir room and the Worship Center; just look for the music welcome center and a friendly greeter will direct you to the right place.
No special musical talent is needed to join choir, only a desire to worship and a high level of commitment for this ministry.

Choir rehearsals are never dull and never intimidating. Rehearsals become a time of worship and drawing near to God. It’s like a spiritual boost for the middle of the week! We’ll laugh with each other, pray together, and glorify our God with our voices.
You will never be singled out or embarrassed. Bring whatever talent God has given you; the music staff and seasoned choir members are ready and willing to teach you all you need to know.

The Westside Choir is engaging the arts to tell the story of Christ in new ways. The Gainesville Christmas Festival is a massive production of over 250 musicians, cast and crew (and live animals!) that is at the heart of our music ministry. GCF is Westside’s gift to the Gainesville community, and God has blessed this effort with many decisions for Christ.
You will find your involvement in GCF to be a fun and rewarding experience. The 2012 Gainesville Christmas Festival promises to be the best yet, so get involved now!
Easter is a special time at Westside, and nothing could finish the day’s celebration better than Westside’s annual “Night of Praise” concert. The Westside Choir leads the way in worship as we draw near to God through music on this special night. “Night of Praise” features the best choir anthems, the premiere of new music, and an uplifting congregational worship focus.
