Children’s Choirs

Westside Children’s Music exists to teach children how to glorify God with the musical talent He has given them. Children learn how to sing, memorize hymns, and produce a musical. Westside Children’s Music is a great alternative or supplement to elementary school music education. All children ages 3 through 5th grade are invited to attend! Rehearsals begin at 6p each Wednesday. Show up at the Choir room and someone will help you to the appropriate group from there!

Extreme Praise is Westside Children’s Music for children in grades 1-5. These ensembles work on musicianship, note reading, voicing, and worship practices. There is an emphasis on hymn memorization with monthly rewards for those who memorize the hymn of the month. Extreme Praise ensembles have several performances during the year and end the spring semester with an annual spring musical.

Basic Praise is Westside Children’s Music for children ages 3, 4, and K5. These ensembles are an introductory course in music that prepare children for a lifetime of music and worship. Children in these ensembles also get the experience of their first performance before an audience.
