EMPTY NESTERS
(mid 40′s – mid 60′s)
We are empty-nesters looking to the Bible for guidance in this new phase of our life as we attempt to glorify God in our daily life and continue to be good Christian role-models to our grown children and our grandchildren. Come join us as we study the Word of God and fellowship together with others whose lives no longer revolve around children and work.
We would like to invite you to an Adult Bible Study for Empty Nesters – the children are grown and have left home to start their own families, but we have not stopped guiding them through life’s many trials. Some of us are retired from work, but none of us have retired form serving the Lord.
Our classes are not a lecture series where everyone listens to a teacher, but a class of discussion and participation by everyone. We learn from each other and our experiences. It is important to us for each person to have ownership in our class, and by being open to participate, we feel a sense of ownership and belonging.
