Ways to Serve

At Westside, we believe we are called to serve the city of Gainesville. While we know God can and will do great things through our local body, we also know that God has called and equipped other ministries in Gainesville to do the same thing. To explore the other ministries in Gainesville that Westside partners with and to see how you can get connected, keep scrolling.

One More Child

One More Child's vision is, "to bring hope to hurting children, to show that the love of Jesus changes lives and to impact the life of One More Child. From the opening of our first orphanage in 1904 to our present-day ministries that have expanded to provide safe, stable, Christian homes and services to children and families in need across the state and around the globe, we are honored to be helping children in tangible ways."

SIRA

"Each day, we meet with women who are confused and hurting. We invite them to come in to Sira, to share their story, a story they often feel they can’t share with anyone else, and we listen. Many face an unexpected pregnancy or struggle with a past pregnancy decision. Sometimes, it’s an expecting mom or dad who feels overwhelmed and underprepared to be a parent or raise an additional child. Whatever their story, we welcome them with open arms."

Created Gainesville

"We seek to end sex trafficking and sexual exploitation in our community by reducing the supply, reaching the exploited, restoring lives, and stopping the demand. We believe our part in the global effort to end sex trafficking begins in our local communities. Our goal is to provide effective programs that empower survivors to reclaim their identity and purpose, while disrupting the cycles of exploitation through prevention and awareness."
