Resolutions help us identify our priorities.

Resolutions help us identify our priorities. They clarify how we want to invest our time and resources- instead of spending them. The New Year says time is passing and we must seek to capture the important. Here are a few possible resolutions:

WAKE UP grateful and spend the first time of the day with the One who gave it to you- Jesus Christ.

PERK UP. Put on a smile- it helps our looks and encourages others

SHUT UP. Listen first.  Watch your tongue. Don’t gossip. Speak encouragement

STAND UP. Get in the arena.   Share your faith. Engage the battles of life. Make a difference

LOOK UP. There is only one source of ultimate help and hope. The Lord provides  the insight and strength we don’t have. Look to Him

REACH UP. Pursue your God given dreams. Who wants to die with unfulfilled dreams- really !!

LIFT UP. Be available to help others discover their dreams and see them to fruition.

Now resolutions, I think, can be helpful. But ultimately we need a revolution, a turning point in our lives brought about by the love and wisdom of God through faith in Jesus Christ. And this is what our ministry this year is all about.

See you Sunday with a smile on your face, a Bible in your hand, and a friend by your side.

God Bless,

Pastor Gary
