What did you give for Christmas?

Mark Hall wrote about an important question we often overlook.  A few years ago he overheard some teenagers at church talking about the presents they had received the day before on Christmas.  Hall walked up to the group and asked, “What did you give for Christmas?”  They were completely caught off-guard and labored to recall what they had offered to others.  Our Facebook-Twitter world keeps us thinking mostly about ourselves so it’s very important to carefully consider what we are giving these days (Acts 20:35).

Sunday is also Christmas Day.  The most important thing we can give is our full devotion to Christ which is expressed in our relationships, our financial giving, and our ministry. They each express our love for Him and our gratitude for His gift of eternal life to us. I Iook forward to worship with you at 10:45 AM.
